North Simcoe Soccer Club needs an accountant
Hello,
Our club needs the services of an accountant to sign off on our 2022 financial statement.
Unfortunately the one we’ve used for many years has retired and the local accountants that we have approached have their hands full with existing customers.
If you know an accountant that is willing, lease share their contact info with myself.

League information session and a social AGM
Hello,
This last year has been a wild ride for all of us.
Thank you for supporting our league, for volunteering your time and showing an interest in our community.
The North Simcoe Soccer Club is inviting you to a relaxed, social AGM that will be at the Boathouse on Tuesday January 24, 2023 at 7pm.
We will talk about our league, the challenges faced and what is coming up.
With the support of our incredible Executive and your efforts, we have made it through these tough times.
Currently the Indoor League is busting at the seams.
The Indoor league is humbly run by the Director of Administration, our steadfast, Laurie Campaigne.
Our spring season was the largest yet.
With the sure hand of Amanda Regimbal Director of House League and the shocking perseverance of our Equipment Manager Mike Laurin, things stayed on track.
Probably my most gratifying and pleasurable role with this club has been as a Convenor and we had a number of people step into the role this year. In some cases, this was their 1st year as convenor. I had the honour to see them work to hold things together and then relax as the season took shape, being able to just enjoy watching the children have fun on the fields. Thank you so much for putting your time into our community.
I am finishing my 1st year as President of our club, taking over from Dean Mallot.
Dean and Past President Lee Jeannotte have and continue to provide me with tremendous support and guidance.
Dean, Lee and Vice President Christoph Lorenz lead our club through the process of setting up a Rep League and then watched as Covid-19 put everything on hold.
Thankfully, Dean is back to get the Rep League going and there is lots to do.
A key component to resuming our Rep League is having a Head Referee, we happily welcome the experienced hand of Jose Silveira in the role of Head Referee.
We hope you can find the time to help us celebrate our club on Tuesday January 24 at 7pm at the Boathouse 177 King Street, here in Midland, L4R 3L9.
Sincerely
Chris Prete

Rep Soccer is Back !
Good afternoon,
The North Simcoe Soccer Club will be running Rep Soccer this upcoming outdoor season.
We will be having our tryouts in the New Year for any players interested in playing Rep Soccer.
I would like to get a feeling for who is all interested in playing Rep Soccer this upcoming season.
So if you have a son or daughter interested in playing Rep soccer this upcoming season, please send me an email so i can start to figure out what age groups we might be able to field teams with this season.
For those unaware, we did have 2 seasons of Rep soccer and it was growing in our club but then Covid hit and this will be our first season back since then. The center’s we normally play against are: Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Huntsville, Innisfil, Orillia and Wasaga Beach to name a few.
The games usually begins end of May early June and runs through the summer till September.
There is normally one game a week, and one or two practices (depending on who the coach is). However, once the team is selected in February, we normally run indoor practices until we can get outside to practice.
My email is: 1nsscpresident@gmail.com
Thank you for your time,
Dean Malott
Past President and Director of Rep Soccer
