Hello Soccer parents and players

As we work our way through the cold and snow of this season, the North Simcoe Soccer Executive have been working to organize the upcoming spring/summer soccer season.

We have some exciting changes and additions for the upcoming soccer season.

I have attached the advertisement that will be posted in the Midland Recreational Guide in a few weeks, so you are aware of the change in scheduling for the different leagues. Please look closely at the changes we have made.

The Beginner league- (Grades Sk-1) does NOT have a convenor.
As you are aware, this is a volunteer based organization and we are in need of a volunteer parent to assist in organizing this group. If you have a child in this age group, please contact me directly, if you are able to assist.

We will again be looking for coaches to work front line soccer duties for all leagues.

*For the first time in many years, our local area is endeavouring to submit a “Rep /Select team” also known as a Developmental team in the soccer world for U12 players. We will be looking for children born in 2006 & 2007 for this team, both girls and boys, as it will be a mixed team. All the details have not yet been finalized, however, there will be travel and approximately 6-8 home games and the same away games.

We will be having TRYOUTS on February 21st and February 28., at 7:15pm at Bayview School, to see what the interest level is for this team.
Please feel free to share this information with anyone you feel would be interested.*

Hope to see you on the soccer pitch this year as a convenor, coach or a cheerleader.

The document NSSC_AD_SECOND_DRAFT_2018.pdf was attached to this post.

North Simcoe Soccer League is reaching out to parents whose child is moving into the Beginner league this coming 2018 soccer season.

We do not have a convener for this league to assist in organizing the season.

If your child is moving into the Beginner league or is currently in the league and you would be interested in assisting, please let us know.

Email me directly at

This league is run by volunteers and if we do not have someone to fill this position, we may not be in a position to offer soccer to this age group for the upcoming season.

Kind regards,

Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall indoor soccer session.

I wanted to update you on the availability of Bayview School to us.

There is now a school event scheduled for December 20th, so our last day before the holiday season in which we will be playing is December 13th.

That is right, only 2 more weeks until we break for the holiday season.

Our first day back in the 2018 will be January 10th.

I should also mention that due to Simcoe County School Board policy, the doors are locked at 7:15pm. Please arrive early or make arrangements with a friend to let you in if you are arriving late for the second session of the evening.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I reached out to the school board and that ids there policy.

Have a great day, see you on Wednesday !
