News and Announcements

North Simcoe Soccer League is reaching out to parents whose child is moving into the Beginner league this coming 2018 soccer season.

We do not have a convener for this league to assist in organizing the season.

If your child is moving into the Beginner league or is currently in the league and you would be interested in assisting, please let us know.

Email me directly at lee.ajj22@gmail.com

This league is run by volunteers and if we do not have someone to fill this position, we may not be in a position to offer soccer to this age group for the upcoming season.

Kind regards,

Lee Jeannotte

Good afternoon,

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall indoor soccer session.

I wanted to update you on the availability of Bayview School to us.

There is now a school event scheduled for December 20th, so our last day before the holiday season in which we will be playing is December 13th.

That is right, only 2 more weeks until we break for the holiday season.

Our first day back in the 2018 will be January 10th.

I should also mention that due to Simcoe County School Board policy, the doors are locked at 7:15pm. Please arrive early or make arrangements with a friend to let you in if you are arriving late for the second session of the evening.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I reached out to the school board and that ids there policy.

Have a great day, see you on Wednesday !

The final week of soccer is here for most leagues, with the exception of the senior league, which will play throughout the summer. It is difficult to believe we are at the end of June already.

This year we are trying a different format for our last night of play. We will be having a mini tournaments of 3 × 10 minute games. Please arrive on time, as there will be no practice on the last night, but go directly to our game schedule. Your convenor will advise your schedule for the last night of play.

Following the games, we will gather for a thank you to all those involved in the success of the league and then treats for all the children.

Thanks to everyone who make this league a success.

We have two members of our Executive who have served the Club with professionalism and dedication, but will be taking a break from the organizational aspect of things. We are looking for parents, who would like to take a stab at convening one of the younger leagues. If you are interested, please speak with your present convenor and they can fill you in on the responsibilities and time commitment.
